HFCC Comes to a Close

The 2013 HFCC has now officially been brought to a close for another year.

Over 350 delegates from 17 countries participated in this year’s event, across a 3-day program.

PowerPoint Presentations and photos from this year’s event will be posted online shortly.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we send a big thank you to all those who attended and participated and made the conference a huge success.

We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney for the 2014 HFCC from February 19-21.

Kirp Book Signing

A reminder to all HFCC delegates the Dr David Kirp, from the University of California at Berkeley, will be doing a book signing during the welcome reception from 5pm on Wednesday 13 May. The reception and book signing will take place in the magnificient California Plaza precinct of the Omni Hotel.

Dr Kirp will be presenting his keynote presentation entitled “The Littlest Schoolhouse” just moments earlier and will provide delegates with a unique insight into some of the key challenges and opportunities facing the US Education system.

With only 2 days until the 2013 HFCC commences it’s still not too late for delegates to register. Visit www.helpingfamilieschange.org/register for full details.

CEU forms Available at Registration Desk

The organizers of the HFCC are delighted to announce that the 2013 conference has been approved by California Psychological Association to provide Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) to licensed psychologists in the State of California. The great news is that CEUs will be available at no cost to delegates.

CEU forms will be administered by the HFCC Ambassador team and available at the registration desk, located in the level 2 foyer of the Omni Hotel. Please speak with one of the conference Ambassadors for more information.

The HFCC is also approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for licensing clinical social workers (LCSW) and marriage and family therapists (MFT) in the State of California.

Valentine’s Day at HFCC 2013

In a delightful coincidence, the Gala Dinner for the 2013 Helping Families Change Conference falls on Valentine’s Day this year!

To mark the special occasion, the conference organizers are encouring delegates to put their best Valentine’s day frocks on and come prepared for a night of flair and excitment.

Described as a feature of the annual HFCC, the Gala Dinner will have good food, wine, and live music happening right throughout the night and delegates are invited to relax, unwind and enjoy the opportunity to socialise with other delegates from across the world in a night of fun-filled entertainment. The 2013 HFCC Dinner promises to be one of the best on record with now over 200 delegates already registered to attend.

If last year’s conference is anything to go by, the night is truly not to be missed (pictured below are delegates attending the 2012 HFCC dinner in Glasgow, Scotland).
